Chap. XL.— An Act for the relief of Craven P. Luckett and William Reynolds. March 3, 1825. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the proper officers of the treasury be, and $500 to be paid to each of them.they are hereby, authorized and required to allow and pay unto Craven P. Luckett, one of the commissioners for ascertaining the rights of persons claiming lands in the territory of Florida, the sum of five hundred dollars, as a full compensation for having brought to the seat of govern- EIGHTEENTH CONGRESS.

Ch. 41, 42, 43, 44, 47. 1825. 325 ment the report of the said commissioners, and to William Reynolds, the sum of five hundred dollars, as a full compensation for having brought to the seat of government the report of the commissioners for the settlement of land claims in East Florida; and the said sums shall be paid out of any money in the treasury, not otherwise appropriated.
