Chap. XIII.— An Act for the relief of Stephen Hook. Jan. 23, 1832. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay unto Stephen Hook, of New Hampshire,Payment for services in arresting criminals. the sum of four hundred dollars, out of any money in the treasury, not otherwise appropriated, in full for moneys expended and services rendered in the apprehension, at Louisburgh, Cape Breton Island, of Charles Marchant and Winslow Curtis, charged with the commission of piracy and murder on board the American schooner Fairy. Approved, January 23, 1832.
