Chap. XII.— An Act for the relief of Lieutenant Isaac McKeever. Feb. 8, 1827. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the proper accounting officers of the treasury department be authorized to allow to lieutenant Isaac McKeever so muchAllowance to him to cover his expenses in the case of the vessels Marino and Louisa. of the proceeds of the forfeitures and penalties as have accrued to the United States, from the condemnation of the vessels Marino and Louisa, and their cargoes, as may be necessary to cover his reasonable expenses in prosecuting the suits against the said vessels and cargoes, in the District Court of the United States for the district of Alabama, for the violation of the laws of the United States.
