Chap. XCVII.— An Act for the relief of Samuel Hodgdon. March 3, 1823. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the accounting officers of the treasury department be, and they are hereby, authorized to revise the accountsAccounts of John Smith to be revised. of John Smith, late of Ohio, as contractor for the supply of the army of the United States, arising out of the contracts in which the said Samuel Hodgdon was one of the sureties of said contractor, and to cause the judgment, obtained by the United States against said Samuel, on such contracts, to be credited with all such sums as shall appear to be equitably due to said contractor upon such contracts. Approved, March 3, 1823.
