XCVI.— An Act *for the relief of the legal representatives of Michael Fenwick, deceased.*March 3, 1839. *Be it enacted, &c*., That the Secretary of the Treasury pay to the legal representatives of Michael Fenwick, deceased, the sum of sevenPayment for property destroyed. thousand dollars, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, in full satisfaction for buildings (other than the dwelling-house) destroyed by the enemy, on the estate of the said deceased, during the late war with Great Britain, in consequence of the occupation of the said buildings by the troops of the United States.
