Chap. XCVI.— An Act for the relief of Joseph Marechal. May 18, 1824. *Be it enacted, &c., * That there be paid to Joseph Marechal, late captainSuit against him by the U. S., &c. of the fourteenth regiment United States’ Infantry, the sum of two hundred and eighty-eight dollars, out of any moneys of the treasury, not otherwise appropriated. And that there be refunded to him, any sum which he may have paid as costs of suit in any action brought against him by the officers of the United States, in the District Court of the United States, for the district of Maryland, for March term, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-two. Approved, May 18, 1824.
