Chap. XCV.— An Act for the relief of Daniel Jackson and Lucius M. Higgins of Newbern, in North Carolina. March 2, 1831. *Be it enacted, &c., * That there shall be issued, under the direction of the Secretary of the Treasury, a register for the schooner Julia D. Ramsey,A register for schr. Julia D. Ramsey to be issued. built in Quebec, but now owned by Daniel Jackson and Lucius M. Higgins, citizens of the United States, and lying at the port of Newbern, in North Carolina, whenever the said Jackson and Higgins shall furnish the Secretary of the Treasury with satisfactory proof that the said schooner has been repaired in the United States, and that the cost of repairing her, by her present owners, exceeds three-fourths of the original cost of building a vessel of the same tonnage in the United States.
