Chap. XCIX.— An Act for the relief of John Crosby and John Crosby, junior. April 26, 1816. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the proper accounting officers of the NavyClaim to be settled. Department be, and they are hereby authorized and directed, to audit 168 FOURTEENTH CONGRESS. Sess. I. Ch. 100, 105, 106. 1816. and settle the claim of John Crosby, and John Crosby, junior, on account of the destruction by fire, of their store, house, goods, and wharf, in the town of Hampden, in the state of Massachusetts, and to allow them, in the settlement thereof, the value of the said property destroyed as aforesaid.
Sec. 2. Appropriation. *And be it further enacted, *That the amount thereof, when so ascertained, shall be paid to the said John Crosby, and John Crosby, junior, out of any money in the treasury, not otherwise appropriated. Approved, April 26, 1816.
