Chap. XCI.— An Act granting to Amos Spofford the right of pre-emption. April 26, 1816. *Be it enacted, &c., * Pre-emption right granted to him. That Amos Spafford, collector of the district and port of Miami, shall have the right of pre-emption to one hundred and sixty acres of land, to include his improvements, situate within the limits of the reserve of twelve miles square, at the rapids of Miami of Lake Erie, the boundaries of which shall be designated under the direction of the Secretary of the Treasury; which tract of land shall be granted to him at the same price, and on the same terms and conditions for which the other public lands are sold at private sale. Approved, April 26, 1816.
