Chap. VIII.— An Act *for the relief of John H. Jacocks.*April 10, 1840. *Be it enacted, &c*., That there be paid to John H. Jacocks, out ofPayment for services as inspector of the customs. any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of four hundred and thirty dollars, for services rendered as inspector of the customs at the port of New Haven, in the state of Connecticut, from the first of April, eighteen hundred and thirty-four, to the fifteenth of February, eighteen hundred and thirty-five.
