Chap. VIII.— An Act authorizing the issuing of letters patent to Adolphus G. Trott. Feb. 5, 1825. *Be it enacted, &c., * Letters patent to be issued to him for invention of a new dye. That the Secretary of State be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to issue letters patent, in the usual form, to Adolphus G. Trott, for his invention of a new and useful dye for the coloring of cloths, upon his complying with all the provisions of the several acts of Congress relative to the issuing of letters patent for inventions and improvements, except so far as the said acts require, on the part of aliens, a residence of two years. Approved, February 5, 1825.
