Chap. VI.— An Act for the relief of Major-General John Stark. Dec. 28, 1818. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the Secretary for the War Department be, To be placed on the pension list.and he is hereby, directed to place upon the list of invalid pensioners of the United States, Major-General John Stark, at the rate of sixty dollars a month, to commence on the sixteenth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and seventeen. Sec. 2. Pension where payable. *And be it further enacted, *That the pension aforesaid shall be paid at the treasury of the United States; or in the same manner as invalid pensioners are paid who have heretofore been placed on the list of pensioners, at the option of said pensioner.
