Chap. VI.— An Act *to revive and continue in force for ten years an act entitled “An act to incorporate the Mechanic Relief Society of Alexandria,”* August 9, 1841. *Be it enacted, &c*., That the act entitled “An act to incorporate the Mechanic Relief Society of Alexandria,” approved April thirteenth,Act of April 13, 1818, revived and continued for ten years. eighteen hundred and eighteen, be, and the same is hereby, revived, and shall continue in force for the term of ten years from and after the passage of this act; and all the rights, privileges, and powers granted by the said act to the Mechanic Relief Society of Alexandria,” and the corporate existence of the said society, are hereby revived and continued in full force for the term of ten years from and after the passage of this act: *Provided, however*, It shall and may be lawful for the trustees ofProviso. said Corporation, at any time before the expiration of the said ten years, to dissolve the same; to sell and convey the estate, real and personal, which has been or may hereafter be, vested in said corporation; and to make such disposition of the proceeds, after paying all just debts of said corporation, as they may deem proper. 825 Approved, August 9, 1841. 27 2 1841 1842 PRIVATE ACTS OF THE TWENTY-SEVENTH CONGRESS of the UNITED STATES, *Passed, at the second session, which was begun and held at the City of Washington, in the District of Columbia, on Monday, the sixth day of December, 1841, and ended on the thirty first day of August*, 1842.
