Chap. LXV.— An Act *for the relief of Peter W. Short, of Woodstock, Ulster county, New York.* July 20, 1840. *Be it enacted, &c*., That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, To be replaced on pension roll.authorized and directed to restore the name of Peter W. Short to the invalid pension roll of the United States, and to pay him at the rate of two dollars and sixty-six cents per month, from the time his pension was suspended, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated; and to continue during his natural life.
