Chap. LXV.— An Act for the relief of William Morrison. March 2, 1827. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the accounting officers of the treasury department be, and they are hereby, directed to adjust the claim of WilliamClaim for supplies furnished, to be settled. Morrison, late a contractor for supplies to the army, and allow him credit for sixty-nine beef cattle, taken from near the military post of Prairie du Chien, or Fort Crawford, in July, eighteen hundred and sixteen, by certain predatory tribes of Indians; and the amount, so found to be due, shall be paid to the said William Morrison, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
