Chap. LXV.— An Act for the relief of William Henderson. May 7, 1822. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the proper accounting officer of the treasuryTo be compensated for the destruction of his property by the enemy. department cause to be paid to William Henderson, or to his legal representatives, the sum of two thousand seven hundred and sixty-five dollars, for the value of his property destroyed by the enemy during the late war, at Monday’s Point, in Virginia; and that the same be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, May 7, 1822.
