Chap. LVI.— An Act for the relief of Captain Thomas Paine. March 22, 1832. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the proper accounting officers of the treasury be, and are hereby, authorized to pay to Thomas Paine, the sumPayment for provisions lost. of five hundred dollars, in full for two months and a half provisions lost in the revenue cutter Crawford, on the sixteenth of March, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-nine.
