Chap. LIX.— An Act for the relief of John Rodgers. March 31, 1832. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the treasuryPayment for certain improvements. not otherwise appropriated, to John Rodgers, of the Cherokee nation, the sum of one thousand dollars, for the improvements made by the said John Rodgers on the land occupied and improved by him, and on which he dwelt at the time of the treaty between the United States and the Cherokee nation, of the eighth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and seventeen. Approved, March 31, 1832.
