Chap. LIII.— An Act for the relief of William Chism. March 3, 1817. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the additional accountant of the war departmentClaim to be settled. be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to audit and settle the claim of William Chism, on account of money advanced for shoeing horses belonging to the company which he commanded, in the month of February, one thousand eight hundred and fifteen. Sec. 2. Appropriation. *And be it further enacted, *That the amount thereof, when so ascertained, shall be paid to the said William Chism, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, March 3, 1817.
