Chap. LII.— An Act for the relief of Charles Williams. March 3, 1817. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the proper accounting officer of the war departmentClaim on account of two horses to be audited and settled. be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to audit and settle the claim of Charles Williams, on account of two horses received into the service of the United States, and that he allow him, in the settlement thereof, the value of the said horses. Sec. 2. Appropriation. *And be it further enacted, *That the amount thereof, when ascertained as aforesaid, be paid to the said Charles Williams out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, March 3, 1817.
