Chap. LI.— An Act for the relief of Davis Floyd. May 16, 1826. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the proper accounting officers of the treasury be, and they are hereby, authorized and required to allow and pay untoPayment to him for conveying report of commissioners to Washington. Davis Floyd, one of the commissioners for ascertaining the rights of persons claiming lands in East Florida, the sum of five hundred dollars, as a full compensation for having brought to the seat of government the report of the said commissioners; and the said sum shall be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, May 16, 1826.
