Chap. IX.— An Act *for the relief of Snow Y. Sears.* January 20, 1843. *Be it enacted, &c*., That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Snow Y. Sears, of Barnstable,Amount of a certain line to be refunded. in the state of Massachusetts, master mariner, or his attorney, the sum of four hundred dollars, on account of a fine of that amount remitted to said Sears, by the Secretary of the Treasury, on the twenty-fourth day of September, eighteen hundred and forty-one, and which was paid into the treasury before the remission of the same could take effect.
