Chap. IV.— An Act for the relief of Thomas Lewis. Feb. 15, 1799. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the proper accountingAllowance to Thomas Lewis. officers of the treasury be, and they are hereby directed to settle the accounts of Thomas Lewis, a captain in the army of the United States, and to allow him a sum not exceeding eleven hundred and fifty-seven dollars, in full for his extra services and expenses during the time he acted as additional aid-de-camp to the late Major-General Wayne. Approved, February 15, 1799.
