Jan. 14, 1818. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the duty securedDuties on West’s painting remitted. to the United States on a painting lately presented by Benjamin West, president of the royal academy, London, to the Pennsylvania hospital, be, and the same is hereby, remitted.
