Chap. CXXXI.— An Act for the relief of Michael Lewis. May 28, 1830. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to pay to Michael Lewis, or his legalPayment for services as pilot. representatives, out of any money in the treasury, not otherwise appropriated, the sum of three hundred and eighty dollars, as a compensation in full for his services as pilot on board the United States’ schooner Vixen, in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirteen, and subsequent detention as a prisoner of war. Approved, May 28, 1830.
