Chap. CXXIV.— An Act *for the relief of George W. Clarke, Harris Cooke, and John Brainerd, second, if the state of Rhode Island.* June 17, 1844. *Be it enacted, &c*., That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, directed to pay to George W. Clarke, Harris Cooke and JohnAmount forfeited by them under a contract, to be refunded. Brainerd, second, the sum of three hundred and sixteen dollars and sixty-seven cents, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, being the amount forfeited by them under a contract to deliver a certain quantity of stone at Fort Adams, state of Rhode Island, on the second day of October, eighteen hundred and thirty-two.
