April 20, 1818. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the proper accounting officers of the departmentAccounts to be settled. of war be, and they are hereby, authorized to audit and settle the several accounts of Benjamin Birdsall and William S. Foster, of the army of the United States, in such manner, and upon such terms, as may be reasonable and just. Approved, April 20, 1818.
