Chap. CXXI.— An Act for the relief of the heirs of Baptiste Le Gendre. May 28, 1830. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the heirs of Baptiste Le Gendre be, and they are hereby, confirmed in their claim to six arpents of land in front,Land claim confirmed. by forty in depth, situated on the river Mississippi, in the parish of West Baton Rouge, and bounded above by lands of Jean Baptiste Tuillier, and below by land of Ivon Le Gendre; and the Commissioner of the General Land Office, upon being presented with a plat and survey of the said land, regularly made by competent authority, shall issue to the petitioners a patent therefor: *Provided,* That this act shall amount onlyProviso. to a relinquishment on the part of the United States, and shall, in no manner, affect the rights of third persons, or claims derived from the United States by donation or purchase.
