Chap. CXX.— An Act for the relief of Jonathan Amory, junior, and of the Representatives of Thomas C. Amory, deceased. April 20, 1818. *Be it enacted, &c., * Amount paid by them in consequence of condemnation of the ship Edward to be refunded.Appropriation. That the Secretary of the Treasury shall cause to be repaid to Jonathan Amory, and to the representatives of Thomas C. Amory, the amount of money received from them by the United States in consequence of the condemnation of the ship Edward.
Sec. 2. *And be it further enacted, *That, to carry this act into effect, a sum not exceeding six thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, to be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, April 20, 1818.
