Chap. CXVI.— An Act for the relief of Samuel Russell. March 3, 1825. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the proper accounting officers of the treasury Allowance for clerk hire, &c. during the late war.department be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Samuel Russell, late Deputy Commissary of Purchases, the sum of eighteen hundred dollars, as an allowance for clerk hire, office rent, superintending the making up of army clothing, and for issuing public supplies during the late war; and that the same be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, March 3, 1825.
