Chap. CXLVI.— An Act *for the relief of Thomas M. Isett.* August 11, 1842. *Be it enacted, &c*., That Thomas M. Isett, or his legal representatives,Authorized, on surrendering a certain certificate, to enter land. be, and they are hereby, authorized to enter at any of the land offices in the Territory of Iowa, eighty acres of any of the public lands in said Territory, subject to private entry at the time, in consideration that said Thomas M. Isett shall first surrender to the proper department, to be cancelled, the receipt of the receiver of the land office at Burlington, in said Territory, for the purchase of the east half of the south-west quarter of section number twenty, in township number seventy-seven, north of range number two west, containing eighty acres, entered by Proviso.Leander Judson: *Provided*, That said Thomas M.
Isett, shall satisfactorily appear to the Secretary of the Treasury to be the holder of said certificate of purchase, by transfer, from said Leander Judson. Approved, August 11, 1842.
