Chap. CXLIII.— An Act for the relief of John Heard, junior, surviving assignee of Amasa Davis, junior. June 25, 1832. *Be it enacted, &c., * That there be paid to John Heard, junior, as surviving assignee of Amasa Davis, junior, deceased, out of any money in TWENTY-SECOND CONGRESS. Sess. I. Ch. 145, 146, 147. 1832. 497 the treasury not otherwise appropriated, one thousand dollars, in full forRepayment of the moiety of a certain penalty. the repayment of the moiety of a penalty erroneously collected from the said Davis by the Marshal of the District of Massachusetts, and by him paid into the treasury of the United States.
