Chap. CXIX.— An Act for the relief of James Barnett. May 28, 1830. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the proper accounting officers of the treasuryFive years’ pay as a lieutenant allowed. be, and they are hereby, required to settle the account of James Barnett, a lieutenant of infantry in the Continental line in the revolutionary war, and to allow to him five years’ full pay for his services in said war as a lieutenant as aforesaid, it being the commutation for his half pay for life; and that it be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, May 28, 1830.
