Chap. CXIII.— An Act for the relief of John Pellet. May 7, 1822. *Be it enacted, &c., * That there be paid to John Pellet, or to his legal representatives, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated,Allowance for losses during the invasion of New Orleans. the sum of three thousand eight hundred and sixty-four dollars, in full for losses sustained by him in the destruction of his buildings and other property, during the invasion of New Orleans, in the winter of eighteen hundred and fourteen—fifteen. Approved, May 7, 1822.
