CXI.— An Act *for the relief of the heirs of Major Peter Helphenstcin, deceased.*June 12, 1838. *Be it enacted, &c*.,That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby,Seven years’ half pay of a major allowed. authorized and required to pay to the heirs of Peter Helphenstein, deceased, who was a major in the Virginia continental line of the army of the Revolution, and died in the service of the United States, the aggregate amount of seven years’ half pay of a major of infantry, to be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
