Chap. CXI.— An Act for the relief of George Elliott.June 28, 1834. *Be it enacted, &c.,* That the Secretary of the Treasury be authorized and required to pay to George Elliott, a Cherokee Indian, the sum of Payment for services in removal of Cherokees. three hundred and sixty-five dollars and fifty cents, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, in full compensation for his services and expenses in assisting the removal of emigrating Cherokees west of the Mississippi, and in coming to and returning from Washington city, on business with the Indian Department. Approved, June 28, 1834.
