Chap. CXCII.— An Act *for the relief of William Clark.*March 3, 1839. *Be it enacted, &c*., That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby,Land warrant to be issued. directed to issue a land warrant for one hundred and sixty acres of land to William Clark, a Canadian volunteer, to be located on any of the unappropriated lands which have been offered for sale, and are subject to private entry in the Territory of Wisconsin: and also, that the Secretary of the Treasury do pay to said William Clark, the sum of twenty-four dollars, for three months extra pay, all which shall be in full compensation for the services of said Clark in the late war with Great Britain.
