Chap. CV.— An Act for the relief of Madame Poidevin. April 20, 1818. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is Allowance in settlement of her claim.hereby, authorized and empowered to pay to Madame Poidevin, the sum of one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four dollars and seventy-nine cents, the same being the amount of her claim against the consulate at l’Orient. Sec. 2. Appropriation. *And be it further enacted, *That the aforesaid sum shall be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, April 20, 1818.
