Chap. CV.— An Act for the relief of Alexander Roddy. May 7, 1822. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the proper accounting officers of the treasury department be authorized to settle the claim of Alexander Roddy, oneClaim to be settled for taking an account of manufacturing establishments. of the assistant marshals appointed to take the census, and an account of the manufacturing establishments and manufactures, in the district of South Carolina, in the year one thousand eight hundred and ten, and to allow him such compensation as may be adequate to his services in taking an account of the manufacturing establishments and manufactures in the Spartenburg division of said district.
Sec. 2. *And be it further enacted, *That the amount, when ascertained,Appropriation. be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, May 7, 1822.
