CLXXII.— An Act *for the relief of James Steel.* June 28, 1836. *Be it enacted, &c.*, That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, directed to place James Steel on the list of revolutionary pensioners ofTo be placed on pension list. the United States, at the rate of thirteen dollars and thirty-five cents per month, commencing on the fourth day of March, eighteen hundred and thirty-one, to continue during his natural life. Sec. 2. *And be it further enacted,* That Elizabeth Steel, the wife ofPension may be claimed by his wife. the said James Steel, be, and is hereby, authorized and empowered to claim for and receive said pension, for and in behalf of the said Steel, on furnishing satisfactory proof of the identity and residence of the said James Steel and Elizabeth Steel.
