Chap. CLXXII.— An Act to authorize the Secretary of the Treasury to grant a right of way, in a certain case, in the city of New York.June 30, 1834. *Be it enacted, &c.,* That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is A right of way may be granted upon the lands purchased by the U. S. for the site of a custom house in New York. hereby, authorized to grant unto the President, Directors and Company of the Bank of the United States, and their successors and assigns, a right of way and passage, over and upon the lands and premises, purchased by the United States for the site of a custom-house, in the port of New York, and upon such terms and conditions and with such reservations and restrictions as in his judgment the public interests may require for the purpose of carrying into effect the act entitled “An act making appropriations for a custom-house in the city of New York, and for other purposes,” passed the thirteenth day of July, in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty-two.
