Chap. CLXVII.— An Act *for the relief of Chauncey Calhoon.*March 3, 1839.1842, ch. 55.Claim to be audited and settled.Act of June 14, 1836, ch. 91. *Be it enacted, &c*., That the Secretary of the Treasury be directed to audit and settle the claim of Chauncey Calhoon for three hundred and five dollars and fifty-three cents, upon the principles adopted in the act of Congress approved fourteenth June, eighteen hundred and thirty-six, entitled “An act for the relief of Jesse Smith and others;” the said claim being for a due bill of that amount given by Thomas Tupper, late assistant deputy quartermaster-general, to said Calhoon, for a balance due him for work and materials furnished for the Madison barracks at Sackett’s Harbor, in the year eighteen hundred and sixteen.
