Chap. CLXVI.— An Act for the relief of Lieutenant-Colonel Enos Cutler, of the United States’ Army. May 29, 1830. *Be it enacted, &c., * Payment for expenses in certain suits. That, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, there be paid to the Secretary of War, the sum of two thousand one hundred and fifty dollars, to be applied by him to the payment of damages, costs, and expenses, incurred by Lieutenant-Colonel Enos Cutler, to that amount, in defending certain suits brought against him as the representative of the United States, and acting under the orders of the department of war. Approved, May 29, 1830.
