Chap. CLXV.— An Act *for the relief of Hezekiah L. Thistle.* August 11, 1842. *Be it enacted, &c*., That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Hezekiah L. Thistle, the sum ofPayment for a horse killed and used as food. seventy-five dollars, in compensation for a horse owned by him, which was killed and used as food, by the troops of the United States, on their march through Florida, in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty-six; and the Secretary of the Treasury is hereby authorized to pay the same out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
