CLVI.— An Act *granting a pension to Emanuel Shrofe.* June 17, 1844. *Be it enacted, &c*., That the Secretary of War be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to place the name of Emanuel Shrofe, of BrownTo be placed on pension roll. county, in the state of Ohio, on the roll of invalid pensioners, at the rate of four dollars per month, to continue during his natural life, and commence from the twenty-third day of September, Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and forty-three.
