CLV.— An Act *for the relief of Jacob Brown, confirming his purchases of certain land in Arkansas.*July 5, 1838. *Be it enacted, &c*.,That the entries of the following described tracts or parcels of land permitted to be made by the registers and receiversLand entries confirmed, and patents to issue. of the Little Rock and Helena land districts, under the belief that said tracts of land had been proclaimed and offered at public sale, and under circumstances which satisfied said officers that said tracts of land were in market, and legally liable to be so entered, to wit:
The east fractional half of the south-east quarter of section thirty-six; the south-east quarter of the north-east quarter of section thirty-six; the north-east quarter of section thirty-six; the west half of the south-east quarter of section thirty-six; the south-east quarter of section twenty-five, and the north-east quarter of section twenty-five, of fractional township ten, south of range one west, in the state of Arkansas, be, and the same are hereby, confirmed; and patents shall issue to the purchasers as in other cases, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
