Chap. CII.— An Act for the relief of Robert Blean. May 19, 1824. *Be it enacted, &c., * That the proper accounting officers of the treasury be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to ascertain, byTo receive such compensation for materials, &c. as may be ascertained. such satisfactory testimony as may be produced, the value to the United States of the materials, taken for the public use, from the house erected by Robert Blean, at West Point, which house was erased by order of the officer commanding at that place.
Sec. 2. *And be it further enacted, *That the Secretary of the TreasuryAppropriation. be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay the sum, so ascertained, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the said Robert Blean, or to his legal representative. Approved, May 19, 1824.
