Chap. CCXXIII.— An Act for the relief of James Ord.June 30, 1834. *Be it enacted, &c.,* That there be allowed to James Ord, for the services of himself and Son as an assistant clerk and messenger in the Allowed for his services, and those of his son, as clerk and messenger. office of the Solicitor of the Treasury, a compensation at the rate of eight hundred dollars per annum, from the fourth day of June, eighteen hundred and thirty, to the twenty-sixth day of May, eighteen hundred and thirty-two; and that the amount found due to the said James Ord, after 592TWENTY-THIRD CONGRESS.
Sess. I. Ch. 224, 225, 226, 227. 1834. deducting therefrom any sum or balance standing against him on the books of the treasury, be paid to him out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, June 30, 1834.
