CCXLII.— An Act *for the relief of John Cowper.* July 1, 1836. *Be it enacted, &c.*, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is Payment for prosecuting certain claims.hereby, directed to pay to John Cowper, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of one thousand seven hundred and sixty-eight dollars and thirty-four cents, for prosecuting the claims of Theodore Armstead, Moses Myers, and James Thorburn, before the commission under the Spanish treaty, commonly called the Florida treaty, which claims enured to the benefit of the United States.
