Chap. CCXIV.— An Act *for the relief if Crawford Johnson.*July 7, 1838. *Be it enacted, &c*.,That the Secretary for the Department of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to issue a duplicate military bounty land warrant to Crawford Johnson, a soldier of the NorthA duplicate military bounty land warrant to be issued. Carolina line of the army of the Revolution, for one hundred acres of land, numbered one thousand two hundred and eighty-four, the original warrant having been lost or mislaid: *Provided*, That’ the said CrawfordProviso.
Johnson shall first give bond, with approved security, to indemnify the United States in case it shall hereafter appear that the original warrant has been sold or disposed of by him. Approved, July 7, 1838.
